What should you expect during the process of the your kitchen remodel?
Before anything begins, plastic sheets will be set up to protect your house during any demolition work that may need to be done. We will remove all the debris from your home.
During the remodeling process, a wall may be added, removed, or altered. Sometimes, if a load bearing wall is opened up, an LVL Beam may need to be added to replace the wall that was removed.
When remodeling a kitchen, normally the HVAC is not changed unless a walls has be removed. If so, we will make sure the necessary changes are made!
In the design of your kitchen, we may need to add one or more circuits if you are interested in adding additional appliances such as a microwave or range hood.
Within the plumbing phase, all plumbing going in and out of the kitchen will be inspected to make sure they are functioning properly. If you are changing the location of your sink, the plumbing configuration might need to be changed.
If any wall layouts are changed, insulation may need to be added or altered.
The next step is the installation of any required drywall. Then it can be finished and painted.
After painting, we will take care of any flooring needs that you might have. This phase may occur before or after the cabinet installation depending on the type of flooring you have or have chosen.
Finally, your new cabinets can be installed!
Once the cabinets have been installed, our counter top installation team will arrive to do the final measurements.
If you have elected to have a back splash, this can now be installed. It is advisable to have a back splash because it not only improves the functionality and cleanliness, but it also ties the kitchen together.
During the last step of your remodel project, we can install your lights, faucets, trim, and complete your final paint touch-ups.
